Pandora needed to get more of their current listeners using the thumbs up/thumbs down function. Because with Pandora, the difference is in the data: the more thumb data they collect, the more personalized the service becomes for every listener.
 
So we showed how Pandora’s deeper personalization helps create perfect moments powered by the music you love, encapsulated by the tagline, “Now Playing. You.”
 
We ran the videos where the message would be most relevant: on the Pandora platform itself, where after viewing, users could start thumbing more right away. And they did. By leveraging the platform, we reached and activated more people for a fraction of the cost of a conventional media buy. Proving out Pandora’s competitive difference in an increasingly competitive category.
